Is This For Me?
You do not need to be a top ultra-distance triathlete because you
will only be racing for an hour at a time. You will need to be
comfortable over an Olympic distance triathlon event (1500-40-10k)
and be confident in open water swimming.
Each swimmer will need to complete a 2 hour open water swim in water
16 degrees or under in the year of the attempt – this can be done
with / without Enduroman.
Team combinations can be single sex, mixed, wetsuit, or no wetsuit –
there is only one World Record category that applies to all.
Led By The World Experts
Your challenge will be led by one of the Enduroman team
who will be with you all the way to Paris:
Eddie Ette: More Details
Steve Haywood: More Details
Eddie & Steve are members of a very small and exclusive group
of people who have completed a solo Arch To
Arc crossing.
They have all been where you want to go – and their experience,
knowledge & skills will be priceless additions to a memorable and
safe challenge attempt for your team. Only Enduroman offers
this opportunity.
Be Special
Only 9 people in history have completed the solo Arch to Arc
challenge and even fewer teams have done so (Relay
Results). This is your chance to join a very special group
who have completed one of the classic endurance challenges in the
world, have an experience that is life-enhancing, (and for some
people even life-changing) and raise some charity money in the
process.
London To Paris Relay History
First completed by UK triathletes in the 1980s, Enduroman were first
involved in the late 1990's staging the now discontinued annual
London Banks Relay over a slightly different course. Enduroman
launched the relay challenge over their standard Arch To Arc course
in 2009 and a new World Record was established.

The Relay
Challenge Season
Enduroman's prime swim departure slots for the next three years are
listed here. Solo A2A
attempts will tend to swim on a neap tide - tidal range is less than
a spring tide and therefore 'easier' to swim - and later in the swim
season when the water is warmer. Relay attempts do not have to
have those restrictions. In addition to the prime slots listed
on the website, Enduroman may also have additional capacity to take
relay teams during these times:
1. At the start of the swim season in early June
2. At the end of the swim season mid-Sep to mid-Oct
3. On Spring tides throughout the season
4. During an extended period of settled weather during the season
So it's always worth talking to us about your first and second
choice departure times - even if these have been allocated on the
website list.
