Equipment etc: One back-up vehicle, (Camper Van), Accommodation in Dover ,
Fuel, Food and drink for team.

Swim: Shakespeare Beach to French Coast

Manpower; One feeder. One Official Observer Boat Crew

Equipment etc: Enduroman registered boat with all necessary safety equipment.
Ferry tickets for van, drivers and equipment Food for all.

Cycle: Calais to Arc de Triomphe Paris…….. distance 180 miles

Manpower: Two drivers (As in run), One cycle Official Observer, One feeder (As in Run)
One general Supporter (As in run)

Costs to Consider

Registration • Accommodation • Hire of Van • Hire of boat, Ferry Crossing for van
and driver, • Fuel • Food and Drink for team • Team members and official's expenses

Timing:

Start during period of neap tides in summer when high pressure dominates. Commence run at approximately 11 pm arriving Dover at approximately 7 pm.
Sleep overnight.
Swim at high tide in the morning, touch land approximately 13 hours later and transfer by boat to Calais.
Clear Customs
Overnight rest
Commence cycle ride to Paris in morning , arriving Paris late evening.
The challenge should be completed in a three day period.
