PARTICIPATION:
Limited and the organisation reserve the right of entry.
CATEGORIES:
MALE TEAM 3 Male
athletes, FEMALE TEAM 3
Female athletes MIXED TEAM 2+1 Athletes
of different Gender.
RELAYS:
A Team will consist of 3 people no more no less and every team
member must complete a minimum of one complete lap of the swim, bike
and run course during the discipline cut-off time.
PARTICIPANTS:
Must have a minimum age 21 years on day of event to participate.
Club Team participants will all belong to the same club.
Company Team participants will all be employed by the named company.
AWARDS:
Team Awards will be presented to the top finishing teams in
the categories
Finishing t-shirts
and medals to
all team competitors.
The Fastest Club, Company or Organization team will win the
“Enduroman” Perpetual Trophy.
The Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the fastest team. The team
with the fastest recorded time regardless of category.
The Enduroman Perpetual trophy will reside in the winning Club,
Company or Organization’s office for a year. The Trophy must be
available for presentation on the day of the 2012 Enduroman Team
Double Triathlon.
The winning Club, Company or Organization will be provided with a
complimentary team entry into the 2012 Enduroman Team Double
Triathlon.
An opportunity to defend the title of the FASTEST TEAM IN EUROPE.

Enduroman Double Team Relay - 300.00 Euros (plus Active Europe
commission)
Price of entry from the 1st October 2010 will increase to
350 Euros (plus Active Europe commission).

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If teams wish to cancel their entry they will receive one of
the sums below depending on when the cancellation is requested.
150 €: If you cancel before 1st August 2010
100 €: If you cancel between 1st August and 30th
October 2010
0 €: If you cancel after 30th October 2010

Please remember the
rules are in place for Safety and Fair play They are important.
RELAY RULES:
All relay team members must check in at registration to pick up
their race packs. (Relay members CAN NOT pick up race packs for team
mates)
All relay team members
must attend the pre race brief.
There will only be
one team chip which must be on the competing athlete
at all times. The chip can only be passed from the athlete finishing
a lap to the athlete starting a lap in the designated area.
Relay change over
will only take place in the designated area.
No team members are
allowed on the race course while another team member is competing.
The last lap of the
run will be done by all 3 team members in reverse so athletes still
competing can high five you.
The 3 man team must
cross the finish line together at the end of the last run lap to
receive an official time and position.
A relay team will
be assigned one bib number: the swimmer will pick up the swim cap
and timing chip, the biker will pick up the bike number and helmet
stickers and the runner will pick up the bib number. Relay teams
will transfer the timing chip and ankle strap by their assigned bike
rack. (The timing chip is the "baton"). The swimmer is responsible
for the short run to the transition area after he/she exits the
water.
SWIM STAGE: The swim stage will be 6 laps of 1.3Km
It is not
obligatory for the team to change swimmer each lap.
The
Swim change will be on
the beach in the designated area only.
The
change over will
be complete once the team chip has been passed from the finishing
swimmer to the starting swimmer.
The competing athlete will wear the chip at all times while on the
course, using the strap provided by Enduroman, It will remain on the
left ankle at all times.
Not wearing your timing chip will result in a DQ, you will be given
1 minute to produce it.
CYCLE STAGE:
The cycle stage will be 6 laps of 60Km
It is not
obligatory for the team to change cyclist each lap. The Cycle change will be at race centre
in the designated area only.
The
change over will be complete once the team chip has
been passed from the finishing cyclist to the starting cyclist.
The competing cyclist will wear the chip at all times while on the
course, using the strap provided by Enduroman, it will remain on the
left ankle at all times.
Not wearing your timing chip will result in a DQ, you will be given
1 minute to produce it.
You will wear your team race number at all times on your back and it
will be visible at all times. Race belts are acceptable providing
the number is clearly visible.
Helmets must be worn / fastened whilst you are on your bike. Once
your bike has been handed to an official or racked you may unfasten
your helmet.
Helmets must be worn / fastened before you leave the change over
area.

RUN STAGE:
The run stage will be 31 laps of 2.73Km
The
Run change over
will be at race centre in the designated area only.
The
change over will
be complete once the team chip has been passed from the finishing
runner to the starting runner.
The competing runner will wear the chip at all times while on the
course, using the strap provided by Enduroman, It will remain on the
left ankle at all times.
Not wearing your timing chip will result in a DQ, you will be given
1 minute to produce it.
You will wear your race number on the
front at all time while on the run course and it must be completely
visible.
Race belts are acceptable providing the number remains clearly
visible.

The
Enduroman Ltd Race
Director has the authority, at any time, to overrule any rule or
invent a new rule based on extenuating, unforeseen, and/or unusual
circumstances and/or to maintain the integrity and fair play
necessary for the successful completion, and continuation, of the
race. The Enduroman Race Director has ultimate authority in regards
to all rules, their interpretation, and their enforcement. There is
neither “appeals committee” nor an "appeals process." All entrants
in the race, and their support crews, willingly acknowledge this
fact, as well as all other race rules, by attending the race in any
capacity.
