European Ultra Triathlon Championships 2012
2012 will see
the second year of the Enduroman European Ultra Triathlon
Championships.
The series will consist of the following 10 races:

The maximum number of races that an
athlete can compete in is four: Double or Single Enduroman Lanzarote, one
of the races at Avon Tyrrell, and
two solo challenges (Enduroman Arch to Arc and / or Enduroman Lanzarote Ultra solo).
Points
Allocation - Ultra races
Athletes may compete in either
one, two ,three, or four races within the series. The
athlete with the most points in both the male and female
categories will become the Enduroman European Champion.
The points will be allocated using the following system:

Challenges
Completion of the Enduroman Arch to Arc:
150 points
Completion of the Enduroman Lanzarote Ultra:
75 points
Athletes that finish the season on
the same amount of points
The higher
final season standings for these athletes will be decided in the
following priority:

The
athlete who has completed the highest number of Enduroman events
for that season

The
athlete will the highest place result in a Deca Enduroman
-
The
athlete with the highest place result in a Quintuple Enduroman
-
The
athlete with the highest place finish in a Triple Enduroman
-
The
athlete with the highest place finish in a Double Enduroman
-
Enduroman Arch to Arc finishers fastest time.
-
In the
unlikely event that 1st place athletes finish the championships
with the same points after applying the above conditions, the
winner will be decided with the athlete
that crossed a finish line first in 2011 during an Enduroman
event.
