Accommodation

Booking accommodation direct with Avon Tyrrell will not be open be available until October 17th 2011.  This will be for Deca and Quin athletes only.  From 1st November 2011, the bookings will be open to all athletes

New for 2012:  Enduroman have secured accommodation within the main house at Avon Tyrrell (pictured below), for athletes and support crew. The facilities available for those booking accommodation on the main house are:

• Lounge & TV

• Evening bar

• 24/7 access to hot water (available to all)

• Evening access to microwaves for evening snacks

• Hot showers

• Bed linen

• There are no self-catering facilities

• Access to on-site launderette

The main house is located immediately next to the run & bike courses and the race centre. The main canteen inside the house will be open to everybody who books meal tickets.  There 108 bed spaces available, with rooms varying from between 4 and 10 beds.  Athletes will have an option to either book a room solely for their use or be prepared to share a room with other athletes and support crews.  The prices of rooms in the main house are:

• £32.00 per person per night (pppn) including 3 meals per day (See below food menu (sole use of room for athlete and support crew).

• £16.50 pppn room only (sole use of room for athlete and support crew)

• £26.50 pppn including 3 meals per day (athletes and support crews willing to share rooms with others).

• £15.00 pppn room only (athletes and support crews willing to share rooms with others)

Camping is also available at Avon Tyrrell immediately next to the run course and around 300m from the race centre. The price is £6.60 per person per night.  Although extremely limited and expensive, Lodges are also available on site (pictured above).  Please contact AT for details on current lodge prices.

Enduroman will pay for all Deca and Quin athlete's accommodation (Main house only), stating the evening before the race start, to Day 11 of the race.  Supports and crew of these athletes must pay.  All athletes including Deca and Quin must book accommodation in the main house using the details below.

Hotels:

There are many hotels in the area of the New Forest.  Enduroman recommends the Christchurch West Premier Inn (see below).  To view more accommodation options in the area please see this link.

Christchurch Premier West, Barrack Road, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 2BN Only 5 Miles from Bournemouth International Airport and 7 Miles from Avon Tyrrell, the Premier Inn is the perfect location for the Enduroman race hotel. Click here for details of this hotel.

Please do not select cheaper hotel packages that offer you deals which takes away your cancellation policy opportunity, regardless of which hotel you book.  Enduroman will not be responsible to refund any accommodation costs.

Food

There will be hot and cold food served 3 times per day in the main house at AT.  The meal times will be:

Deca and Quin athletes will eat free as part of their race entry (This includes the pre race meal on Thursday 31st May 2012, and the brunch of Monday 11th June 2012).  Other athletes, support crews and spectators may book these meals using the contact details below.  The prices of food are;
 

All meal ordes must be placed direct with AT before 1st April 2012.  You may be able to book meals 24 hours in advance or the meal, but this will be considerably more expensive.

You can also book your pre race meal direct with AT.  You can check out what is being served that evening from this menu. The pre race meal for the Deca athletes will be a pasta selection and the brunch on the final day will be the normal breakfast menu.
